Dr. Matt Hartsburg DC DACBSP® is a native of Danbury, CT and founded the Hartsburg Chiropractic Health Center in 2005. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West in 2003. Dr Matt is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians® which is over a 300-hour post-doctorate continuing education program including a sports medicine residency program.
Dr. Matt, a member of the Team USA Medical Staff for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, China and 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris, France, has also treated athletes at the United States Olympic Training Centers in Colorado Springs, CO and Lake Placid, NY since 2016. Additionally, he continues to work with USA Bobsled & Skeleton as part of the World Cup and World Championship Sports Medicine Team. Dr. Matt also has covered multiple international events for the Nitro Circus, World Skate, and the Dew Tour with WMI Global, Inc. He specializes in the golf swing and body connection with a certification by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Currently, he acts as the Official Team Chiropractor for Danbury Westerners Baseball Team (NECBL), the Danbury Rugby Football Club (D2-3 USA Rugby), and the Danbury Hat Tricks Professional Hockey Team (FPHL). He has a particular interest in the connection between posture and repetitive stress injury which is essential in treating individuals of all ages and activity levels.

Lisa Barker, DC

Dr. Lisa A. Barker graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 1999 and has been in private practice since 2000. She became a fellow of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in 2003 and specializes in pre and post-natal care, as well as pediatrics. Concurrently, she became certified in the Webster technique. Her expertise involves helping patients discover the source of their symptoms, whether physical, emotional, or chemical and to help them make changes to lessen these stresses in their lives and to inspire them to move toward improved vitality.
Since 2016, Dr. Barker has held an adjunct faculty position at Western Connecticut State University and teaches food as medicine, supplementation, herbalism, and homeopathy.
Dr. Barker offers various occupational health services. In 2013, she became a registered medical examiner on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's National Examiner Registry, whereby she is able to perform DOT physicals and drug testing for commercial drivers. Similarly, in 2018 she became DIOSH approved to perform pulmonary function testing for respirator medical evaluation and clearance.
Dr. Barker does research and presents at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference annually. Her mission is to research and publish evidence-based data involving nutrition and chiropropractic.

Daniel R. Hopper, DC
Dr. Daniel Hopper is a native of New Fairfield, CT. Then earned a B.S. from Central Connecticut State University while running Division 1 Track & Field. Dr. Hopper is a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic in both California and Connecticut. While earning his DC at the prestigious Palmer West he was able to treat athletes all over the west coast from San Jose State Rugby, Cyclists at the Sea otter Classic, breast cancer survivors at the Avon 39 in San Francisco among others. Now Dr. Hopper is excited to bring all the knowledge and experience back to his hometown area.
Dr. Hopper specializes in spinal and extremity adjustments, rehabilitative procedures, webster technique for pregnant patients, and overall healthy lifestyles.
